Interventions and
treatments that can ameliorate or manage effectively both persistent and
late medical or psychosocial effects of treatment should be developed and
promoted for use in this population. Oncologists, primary care physicians
and ancillary providers should be educated and trained to effectively monitor, evaluate and optimize the health and well-being of a patient who has been treated for cancer. |
