As mentioned above, the status of technology is evolving so rapidly that soon possibilities will be validated through empirical use and outcomes analysis and either accepted into the common body of healthcare or discarded as impractical, too expensive or just not effective. Nevertheless, it is of value to examine some of the emerging technologies and their potential roles in the future of preventive medicine.
