It is not unreasonable to think that other imaging technologies, such as CT, MRI, infra-red, far infrared, microwave to mention a few, will also become extremely small in size and therefore inexpensive. In planning the future of preventive medicine, it is essential to consider the consequence of having cost effective miniaturized devices available ubiquitously.
