Key Point: In the STELLAR trial, the 10-mg dose of rosuvastatin lowered
LDL-C This slide shows data from the STELLAR trial comparing rosuvastatin, atorvastatin, simvastatin and pravastatin across their respective dose ranges Rosuvastatin 10 mg resulted in a statistically significant greater percentage reduction in LDL-C compared with atorvastatin 10 mg; simvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg; and pravastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg (P<.002) In a comparison of dose-response curves, rosuvastatin 10 mg to 40 mg reduced LDL-C significantly more than atorvastatin 10 mg to 80 mg (4.1%; P<.001)
