Hepatitis virus B is a 42 nm DNA virus, Hepadna virus. It is infecting 400 million population worldwide. High endemic areas are mostly in areas of Asia and Africa, with up to 20 % carriers in the highest-endemic area. It is a blood-borne infection with incubation period of 1.5~4.0 months.
