Physical activity has the strongest protective effect against heart disease. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Only 22% of adult Americans get the recommended amount of physical activity. According to the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, you need: 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) of moderate intensity aerobic activity every week. Muscle strengthening activities should be done on 2 or more days a week. Moderate aerobic activity should be done everyday and includes

a bike on level ground or with few hills ,

Muscle strengthening activities include:
