persons residing in these areas had better physical health than lower educated persons.
Average inequality and individual alcohol consumption were unevenly distributed among
educational groups. Marginal educational status was directly related to greater alcohol
use. Those with incomplete higher education had higher levels of individual alcohol use
although their access to material resources was above the mean. Incomplete secondary
educational status was related to substantially greater personal alcohol use but to below
average access to material resources. |
