The Cox model can perform multiple
regression analysis of survival time data, i.e. more than one independent variables. A
treatment effect and covariate effects are produced in terms of the log hazard ratio. In
research report this is usually exponentiated to give the hazard ratio (HR), sometimes
referred to loosely as relative risk (RR).
