Cancer Awareness Seminar: New Trends in Cancer Research
Within the framework of Health Education Club, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) and the TWAS-ARO organized the Cancer Awarness Seminar entitled "New Trends in Cancer Research" , on Monday, 30 October 2017; 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Lecture Hall.

The Seminar aimed at raising the public awareness of cancer, and encouraging its early detection and prevention. During this one-day Seminar, we discussed different types of cancer that are of high incidence and prevalence in Egypt and Arab countries, how to face it and reduce the disease's stigma by educating people about its symptoms and treatment options. The Seminar highlighted the new trends in research.

    Health Education Club: is a public health awareness program. It aims to provide the public community with the opportunity to learn and share the attributes of a healthy lifestyle through regular educational sessions dealing with different health topics.

    No registration fees were required.
