Bioinformatics Workshop: Computer Methods in Molecular Biology
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) in collaboration with the Agricultural Genetic Engineering Research Institute (AGERI), organized the Bioinformatics workshop entitled Computer methods in Molecular Biology" that took place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 8 to 13 December, 2007.

The 6 day intensive hands-on workshop gathered 20 young researchers including biologist, biochemists and computer science engineers. It aimed at creating a bridge of interaction amongst the diverged participants by exposing them to real cutting edge molecular biology computational techniques and opened unprecedented opportunities to overcome current research challenges.
