This project has several limitations. First, women may travel from work instead of home to get a mammogram, altering the projected distance traveled. Second, women may obtain mammography from a mobile mammography facility. Third, the study was not validated against women’s actual driving distance. Finally, driving time may be a better measure of access than driving distance. Unfortunately, driving time was not explicitly modeled in this analysis.
