In clinical
practice, it is important to translate CRP levels into a standard quintile range. In an
ongoing evaluation of several thousand healthy American men and women, the range of CRP
levels can easily be translated into a quintile approach that can be used to estimate risk
as low, mild, moderate, high, or highest. Reference:
