The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) organizes the 10th Biennial International Conference "BioVisionAlexandria (BVA) 2020”, which will take place during 9–11 April 2020 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), Alexandria, Egypt.
The idea of BVA Conference developed after BioTech 2002 Conference, which paved the way for the launching of BVA Conference. Since its birth in 2004, BVA has been an international biennial assembly that brings together distinguished speakers and Nobel Laureates from the four corners of the globe through rich discussions that celebrate science and the finest achievements of the human intellect. The conference always focuses on three major themes: health, food and agriculture, and environment. The ultimate goal of the event is to provide a platform for the exchange of information and dialogue to explore the different ways in which life sciences can help meet the challenges facing us in the 21st century, a vital step for global economic development to improve the quality of life for all.
This year’s Conference, BVA 2020 theme will be “New Life Sciences: Shaping the Future”, it shall tackle the emerging role of life sciences in shaping the future with special attention to the role of life sciences in the 4th industrial revolution. Today, we are witnessing new emerging technologies that are reshaping our lives and introducing new realities. These new technologies have direct implications on every domain; health, environment, agriculture, industry, economy...etc.
BVA 2020 will also shed light on the innovations in the field of life sciences and related domains. Moreover, there will be a special focus on the technological advances that are grapping the global attention: such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies. These new technologies have direct implications on health, environment, agriculture, industry, economy and many more.
