BioVisionAlexandria 2020 is postponed to October

After very thoughtful deliberations based on the current unfolding of the global situation of coronavirus, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the BioVisionAlexandria (BVA) organizing committee deeply regrets to inform you that we will have to postpone the BioVisionAlexandria conference 2020 that was scheduled to take place from 9 to 11 April 20 at the library of Alexandria. We assure you that this decision was not taken in haste. The library of Alexandria believes that it has a societal responsibility to fulfill especially in such times and we have an obligation to favor the health and safety of our guests.

We would like to seize this opportunity to thank our participants for putting their trust in us over the years. We also thank our distinguished speakers and presenters who have shared with us their time, knowledge, expertise and experiences over the years. We are in debt to our partners, collaborators, sponsors and exhibitors for their support.

We are looking at dates in October for BVA 2020 but they are yet to be confirmed. We will be announcing further details regarding registration fees refunds and related procedures. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.

Welcome to BioVisionAlexandria 2020

This year’s Conference, BVA 2020 theme will be “New Life Sciences: Shaping the Future”, it shall tackle the emerging role of life sciences in reshaping the future with special attention to the role of life sciences in the 4th industrial revolution. Today, we are witnessing new emerging technologies that are reshaping our lives and introducing new realities. These new technologies have direct implications on every domain; health, environment, agriculture, industry, economy...etc.

 

The Conference will also shed light on the innovations in the field of life sciences and related domains. Moreover, there will be a special focus on the technological advances that are grapping the global attention: such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies.
