The Lecturers have major role and impact in the success of the training program. Thus, they are selected according to several criteria; their knowledge and real experience in the subject of training, as well as their contributions in the field of training and digital marketing at both local and Arab levels, in addition to their language skills to provide training in both Arabic and English.

 

Instructor Dr. Mona Arslan

Dr. Mona Arslan has been an Assistant Professor at AASTMT since 2020 with a specialization in marketing. Her study has inspired a more diversified view of marketing over the past ten years by interrogating the relationships between marketing, politics, and new media. That work has been published in peer-reviewed articles, blogs, and tweets. Mona received her academic MBA at AASTMT in Alexandria in 2012 and her PhD from the University of Hull in the UK in 2020.

In 2010, Dr. Arslan was a Development Specialist at Indiana University Law LLM program, jointly with Cairo University Faculty of Law and USAID. Mona is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Program and has attended three World Economic Forum meetings in China, South Africa and Jordan.

Mona has taught marketing and management modules for Roehampton University in the UK, she has also taught in dual degree programs with AAST, like that at Coventry University. Formerly, she assisted the Dean of the College of Management and Technology (Smart Village Campus) in public relations and communications. In 2009, Mona was among the founding team of the Media Management department. To date, Mona consistently provides business consultancy and training to companies and entities in the Market.  

Living in a country fronting a major transition, Dr. Mona has an inside motive to continuously contribute to and witness genuine change and mounting development in her homeland.

Accordingly, Dr. Arslan advises multiple NGOs with regards to their corporate communication and social media strategies. Furthermore, she has been a member of Rotary for more than 12 years. Specifically, Mona is the Past President and the Past Chairperson of the biggest Rotaract Conference.

Currently working as an Assistant Professor and striving to participate in different developmental initiatives, Dr. Arslan continues to agree that education and research are major priority in community development.
