The universe is full of wonders created by Allah; the human body is perhaps one of the most complex structures among all creatures. Many organs, systems, and cells tirelessly work day and night to keep humans alive and renew their activity and energy. Hereunder are some interesting and peculiar facts about the human body that you may learn for the first time and will truly amaze you.

The feet are an indicator of a person’s general health. Did you know that the condition of your feet can tell us a lot about your general health? Foot problems are often a sign of another health problem; Including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, and skin cancer. Therefore, maintaining healthy feet is vital to overall health.

Foot bones are among the most complex structures in nature, as they are composed of many small parts that all work together in perfect harmony to facilitate the human tasks of standing upright, walking, and running. Each foot contains 26 bones, which is equivalent to more than a quarter of all the 206 bones in the human body. Foot bones are grouped into 33 joints; each foot contains 19 muscles, 107 ligaments, and miles of blood vessels and nerves, with a thick layer of fatty tissue on the bottom of the foot that helps absorb pressure and shock from walking and everyday movements.

Each foot also contains more than 250,000 sweat glands, which can produce a cup of sweat every day. It is amazing to know that an average-aged person can walk approximately 120,700.8 km to 185,074.56 km in their life, which is equivalent to orbiting the globe four times.
