For neuropathy, again little increase is seen until 1000 A1months when the odds ratio dramatically increases. Despite the visual appearance of some increased risk after 1000 A1months for the renal and neuropathy complications, and above 600 A1months for proliferative retinopathy, formal statistical testing did not reveal a clear threshold or breakpoint.
