Now if, as based
on the equality principle, both sides of Equation I (that shown in the
preceding slide) are multiplied by the variable body weight, and
divided by the variable food consumption, then the variable food
concentration (on the left side of the equation) will be equal to the
product of intake dosage times body weight divided by food
consumption, as shown in Equation II here in this slide. Equation II
also shows that if the variables intake dosage and body weight
are further held constant, food concentration is simply inversely
proportional to food consumption. |
